Data Analyst

We are looking to understand our players better and be more data-informed in our decision making, so we are looking for a motivated and driven Game Analyst to guide us to data-awareness.
As a Data Analyst, you will be building and improving our data capture (which is scarce today) and infrastructure. This goes from maintaining a robust data pipeline, identifying data points, working with game/product teams to evaluate features and content, to building statistical models and visualization tools. You will work closely with product, tech and marketing teams to implement analytical frameworks for strategic decision-making and continuous improvements, at the core of it, helping us serve our communities better.
Important to note, Flashbulb is just at the start of its BI journey, so the role means a lot of foundational work as well as educating our existing teams on the glory of incorporating business intelligence in our creative processes.
Since Flashbulb is on a growth journey the Data analyst will initially report to the CEO, but once a publishing unit is established the role will be included within that.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with at least 3 years in Data Analytics
Proficiency in visualization tools
Experience in building structured data pipelines
Understanding of the video game industry, including player behavior, game mechanics, and monetization strategies
Excellent (English) communication and presentation skills
Working on several projects, with several stakeholder, in parallel
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product teams, taking ownership of data-related questions and providing actionable insights
Work closely with product and design teams to identify areas where data could help make more impactful choices
Assist developers with implementation of data tracking for game features, analyzing player engagement
Construct visualization and statistical models based on stakeholder and designer queries
Proactively identify and assess tracking needs, contributing to data infrastructure development
Take joint ownership of the data backend, building from scratch, and handle multiple stakeholders
